Do you provide primary care?

MotherWit Integrative Medicine an integrative medicine consulting practice and does not function as a primary care practice. We do not provide screening tests, annual visits, vaccinations or other services that a primary care practice provides.


Do you provide urgent or acute care?

MotherWit Integrative Medicine also not provide urgent care services, such as evaluation and management of acute illness or injury.


Do you provide prenatal care?

MotherWit Integrative Medicine provides prenatal counseling to applicable patients. However, prenatal counseling is not the same as prenatal care. Prenatal counseling will only be provided to patients in the care of an obstetrician or other appropriately licensed health care professional.


Do you accept or bill insurance?

MotherWit Integrative Medicine does not accept or bill insurance. You may pay with FSA/HAS or insurance-reimbursable, depending on out-of-network plan. We will provide you with an invoice and superbill you may submit to your insurer if interested. Our services cannot be billed to Medicaid or Medicare however. Please note the cost of lab testing is not included in our fees. You will pay the lab directly or utilize insurance if applicable.


How does provider messaging work?   

You will gain access to MotherWit Integrative Medicine providers via the chat function in the patient portal, once the first appointment of your 12-month membership is booked. Please note that we make best efforts to respond to messages within 2 business days. Please never send urgent messages via the chat function in the Practice Better patient portal.


What if I need to reschedule an appointment?

If you need to reschedule an appointment, we ask that you make best efforts to do this as early as possible. Rescheduling <72 hours in advance more than once will result in a charge of $100.
